This exercise uses one symbol. It is an animated graphic symbol of a ball moving side to side. I placed an instance of the ball in three different layers. I used four keyframes to change the size of the ball in each layer. Finally, I told each instance to use a different start frame. The top ball starts at frame 1 of the symbol animation. The middle ball starts at frame 20 and the bottom ball at frame 40.
