"Ankeny Songbirds"; Album = "Sounds of the Willamette Valley" by Jim Blodget
This recording was made at the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge which is just south of Salem. It is a wetlands and I recorded from the boardwalk on the south side about half a mile in from the road. I was about a third of the way into the boardwalk and was surrounded by songbirds. Some I knew like the wrens, sparrows, vireos, and robins, but others were new to me. I recorded on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 about 10 o'clock in the morning. I used a Sony minidisc recorder and my stereo cone microphone. I was alone. No one else heard these sounds.

The U.S. Field Artillery march / John Philip Sousa ; [performed by] New York Military Band.
